Welcome to Glenfield Infant School
We are a school set in beautiful woodlands on the outskirts of Southampton city centre.
We are a three form entry school and have 9 classes in total taking up to 270 children and mainly feed into Beechwood Junior School. We are really proud of our school and the wonderful community we serve - it really has a warm and friendly feel to it. We have a dedicated staff team who do their utmost to make everyone feel welcome and work hard to ensure your child has the best start to their education. We hope you enjoy looking around our website.
Very best wishes,
Mrs Clifford
Headteacher

Our Vision
At Glenfield Infant School we aim for all our school community to value themselves and each other.
We create positive and nurturing learning environments where all children belong. Children are encouraged and challenged to achieve their very best in all aspects of their learning. Reading is a priority, as the ability to read and understand unlocks a world of imagination, creativity and new, powerful knowledge.
Strong relationships are built between children and staff to enable our learners to feel happy, safe and secure.
